This very fine watercolour sheet with studies of Nasturtium (indische waterkers) closely resembles the style of Georgius Jacobus Johannes van Os (The Hague, 1782-Paris, 1861).

A sheet in the coll. Rijksmuseum Amsterdam by van Os shows closely related studies.[1]

The drawing sold in the rooms of Christie's, Amsterdam from the Hans van Leeuwen Collection comes even closer to our drawing.[2]
