18th century trompe l'oeil Coat of arms for the city theatre of Amsterdam

A very charming 18th century trompe l'oeil of a letter board with a green silk ribbon, clasping together a drawing depicting playful putti, a sheet of marbled paper, together with a print and a book page.

In the tradition of Edwaert Collier (Breda, 1640-London, 1708)

The print on the upper left shows the coat of arms for the city theatre of Amsterdam (the coat of arms for the city of Amsterdam together with a beehive in the lower centre).

The far left sheet is a book page with a psalm taken from a bible.
